Chuck fights good against aggresive opponents and Kimbo would be playing right into his domain with his current fighting style. However, Kimbo is still a rookie and relatively unproven, so any speculation at this point is a little baseless.

They were both getting tired actually. How many guys can exchange blows with Wanderlei Silva, round after round without getting a little winded?

To me he didnt look that winded to me. He was still able to do enough to win the round. Not sure why Chuck even gets criticized for that fight. People have been arguing all along that Chuck is 1 dimensional and just got lucky outstriking wrestlers. So this time Chuck does something different being more tentative, outstriking rearranging Wands face, getting takedowns, spinning back fist and even looking decent in the clinch delivering elbows.

Personally I think its some of the long term Wand fans that have become bitter becaue they have been arguing for years how Wand would murder Liddell. Who knows, but I still say that thinking Kimbo would beat Liddell is baseless.

I agree now that I have slept on the thought. i still think that Kimbo may overwhelm him w/ his aggressive offense but he is inexperienced and Chuck is a champion w/ all kinds of experience.

Liddell looked great against wand and if you wanna talk about people being tired and gasses in the third, look at wand. if Chuck was tired wanderlei was exhausted. The takedowns that Chuck got werent the greatest or fastest i've seen and Wand couldn't defend them. Liddell hasn't lost much and after his last fight I say wait till he fights next. IMO he needed those 2 losses to get his ass in gear. anyway i've gotten off topic now, Liddell will do what he does best and KO kimbo w/ a straight right.

I have to go with Kimbo, Chuck is the better fighter right now. But, Kimbo fears no man and he would be prepared. Chuck will only want to stand, but Kimbo's power will come through. Kimbo's just a tough dude period.

chuck would ko kimbo in the first round...chuck first of all has koed many of the best...unlike kimbo who hasnt koed anybody worth a damn...chuck would use angles on kimbo and plant left hooks and over hand rights...chuck is just plain better in all aspects of mma than kimbo...id even say chuck hits just as hard...

and imo chuck looked great against wandy...he was smart, used his jab and set up good punches...rocked wandy a bunch of times and had good elbows fromt he clinch...wandy is one of the best of all time and for chuck to beat him says alot imo...

also chuck is going to stomp rashad...rashad wont take chuck down cus he wont be able to...and chuck is a better striker with more power and size and reach...i say chuck gets the ko on thsi one...

Kimbo has a huge size, strength, and power advantage that will play a big role IMO. Also the fact that Kimbo looks technically better as a boxer, with good head movement. Chuck has no head movement, Kimbo and he, are the same height and I'm not sure but I would make a baseless guess and say Kimbo has a slightly better reach, not that it matters really. That means Kimbo will catch Chuck on the chin with a left hook and Chuck will go bye bye.

Most of ya'll seem to disreguard the fact that Chuck has never fought anyone as big as Kimbo, with that much skill, striking.

Kimbo would run in, Throw a combonation, Chuck would stop one or two of the punches with his face then counterpunch on the last shot and Kimbo would get KTFO. He might have good head movement and boxing skill and shit, but look whos he's fought..washed up no names, yeah Tank hits hard..8 years ago. I mean I wouldent let him punch me in the face but compared to the guys who are around now tank is old, and bo was a pussy.

This argument is just like Wand vs Chuck. Everyone thinks that chuck is going to get his ass kicked.

Truth be told no one even looks at the "any given sunday" factor. You can train your ass off and hit hard, and have awesome technique but when you slip up for that milisecond and that overhand right, or high kick, or takedown lands and you end up loosing, that training means nothing to anylisists or fans. they just think you suck or that you were out matched. Any given Sunday anything can happen. I stick by that.

I'll use Wand and chuck becuase that seems to be a hot topic. Look at how wand trained for that fight. His everyday workout would KILL most human beings. He came into that fight prepared like no other fighter I had ever seen. Everyone expected a huge KO or Wand to just beat the piss out of chuck. But as things seem to go, no one realized that this fight was probley one of the most important in chucks life. So he trained hard too, got in good shape and when that bell rung for round number one, he went to work and showed why he is one of the best fighters around. So what he dident KO wand, he beat him bloody and thats more then most fightes can say.

My point I see this fight going either way really the stats to me say Chuck. and I will stick by that but I also keep the "any given sunday" factor in the back of my mind.
