Whoooooa, easy buddy. While I agree with most of your post, I wouldn't call Cyril almost a can lol. The guy finished Aerts (2 or 3 times if I remember correctly) and Sefo. Not to mention that the guy won all types of tournaments (boxing, muay thai, and straight up kickboxing), and made it to the K1 finals.
He is no Remy or Hoost, but a can or almost a can? I think you are playing him down.

True, he did beat Peter Aerts and Sefo, but he's also lost to them. With both losses being the most recent fights.
And those fights happened in the beginning of his career, where I would say he was anything but a near-can. But his numerous and frequent losses since then have put a big taint on his career.

Anderson Silva vs Rampage Jackson, at 205lbs
With the announcement of Silva's move to 205lbs, let's cut to the chase. Do we think he can dominate 205 the same way he dominates 185?

nope. I think rampage whoops him. Rampage has the footwork to counter Silva's ballet of strikes, and he is MUCH more powerful. Surely he's trained the MT clinch by now. I think rampage would dump that dude on his head and either gnp a decision or tko.

Were talking about Rampage vs a smaller version of Wanderlei.. Rampage wins that.

The fact remains that Anderson is best at what Rampage is weakest at defending.
I think Page would take it on size alone but I would not be surprised in the least in Anderson whooped him.

I voted Rampage becouse he's my boy," but if there was a Not Sure collumn I would have voted that. I don't really think Anderson Silva looks that small. Hell he looks huge compared to rich franklin.

All I see in this fight is Rampage slamming Silva like he did arona. Total devastation. I would love to see it though.

Hard one to call, but I give it to Silva.
Rampage has great boxing, but Anderson is a more complete stand up fighter. He's dangerous with everything; punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. Page has the wrestling advantage, but Silva is dangerous off his back too. And should Rampage somehow find himself off his back, I give a distinct advantage to Silva. Not to mention Rampage must avoid the clinch at all cost.
