I have a feeling GSP would be able to lay on top of him for 3 rounds. But if this fight stays standing GSP is in a world of trouble... swick was strong and fast enough to unleash a furious combo that rocked Okami badly in the 2nd round of their fight. I like the way swick strikes he throws punches in bunches(alot of it too). Plus training in AKA with two highly decorated wrestlers in KOS and Fitch makes me wonder how good his wrestling would be.

Fuck you dude, neg'd! This is the dream match section and I think this would be a good fight and one that could happen.

It would be a great fight and I think Swick could hold his own.

I think at ww Swick's hands will be faster and pack more power with his punch and imo can knock anyone at ww out. Also he has a decent ground game.
But i will agree with Palma right now about struggling with stronger opponents . Until i see Swick at ww an what he is like i will say GSP out muscles him for a ud.
BUT lol if GSP wants to stand with Swick he is going to go to sleep. I just think Mikes hands are to fast an to powerful for GSP to handle. I am not at all saying GSP has a weak chin, Mike just throws good combos an has good power an can hurt GSP.
Right now GSP UD but that could change when i see the Burkman Swick fight.
Wow that wasn't a dick statement at all.
This is a dream match section an to Twanky maybe this is a dream match for him so back off.
So now Swick is just some kind of bum the guy was cracking the top 10 at mw until losing to okami. Swick was a small mw too.
But i forgot GSP is unbeatable an has a iron chin and amazing striking, striking d, wrestling, ground game.
Didn't GSP get knocked out or tko'ed by Serra. Serra is a lw an does not have the speed or reach that Swick has. So to say Swick can't beat GSP is stupid and for you to say that is just stupid. I won't neg you because normally your a great poster and maybe just a Scrooge around X-mas.

I agree Dork, if he had let his hands go against Okama I think he had a shot at winning, I was shocked he didn't let them go.

Why does everyone think GSP is so strong? Because Rogan keeps saying it?
I say GSP would win 2/3 times.

Swick aint laying GSP out. On the feet IMO it would be even, but I see GSP taking him down GNP'ing then maybe catching him with a right and finishing him.

i voted GSP but i believe Swick could pick GSP a part with his striking and GSP has to prove after that TKO against Serra that his head is right and we will see against Hughes even though Hughes striking is questionable.

To everyone who neg'd me for saying the truth, fuck you, your 3 neg's only took like 10 pts away off my rep so who cares. And Dork is a good man and didn't neg me, know why?? Because he knows he's not a part of the clumsy retarded group of posters that are ruining this forum... and btw I'm not directly attacking anyone, if you want to take it personally then be my guest.

I think the fact that he dominated Kos on the ground was proof enough that he had his head on straight... whether that proves his striking and striking defense are back to where they are is another story...
Seeing how I took the upset of GSP over Silva in the other post, would be silly not to take him here... I definitely see this going to the ground... possible rear naked choke somewhere near the end of the first round...

With lack of quality strikers in the UFC WW division, we don't really know what kind of chin GSP has. He's rocked and KO'd by guys that weren't considered "devastating strikers". So to get in the octagon with a Swick or Marcus Davis you just don't know. I think GSP would beat either, but as we saw in the Serra fight, GSP can be rocked and anyone has a "puncher's chance"
