Why would Franklin maul Bustamante? Busta has better hands, better chin, better wrestling, way better BJJ, and reach advantage. Lindland, Liddell, Rampage, or hendo couldn't maul Busta but somehow Rich is going to? I don't know how Busta is holding up at his age but if Franklin fought him a year ago he would have been choked out.
and I agree, Busta should have gotten the nod in the 2nd fight against Hendo but it was a damn close fight and Hendo rocked him at the end. Not to mention that Hendo is the only man to have knocked him out at one point and Busta is a Brazillian Boxing Champ and Golden Gloves, he also has a hell of a chin.

Eh, Hendo's performances against Arona, Rampage, and Wanderlei the frist time were all great, even though he dropped the decisions. He also got decision wins over Big Nog and Vitor Belfort, as well as a win over Kazuhiro Nakamura (injury, but Hendo was in control before then). I think Hendo's easily one of the ten best fighters at LHW as well.

I want to see Hendo get KTFO just so people realize that it can happen to anyone.

i think Hendo would control the fight, standing and on the ground. he would take it to Rich and not let him land combinations, because he's more of a finesse boxer, and i think he could land a monster right hand and KO him.

Nicely said. Busta was a hell of a fighter. He's older now, but 3 years he would have Franklin in every aspect of the fight game.

i think this fight is closer than people think...hendo and rich area about even int he stand up department imo...maybe witha edge to hendo is power and a edge to rich in technique...wrestling goes to hendo but rich can hang a little and niether will subb the other...
this fight stays ont he feet for a while with rich landing better shots but then hendo gets it down, gnp's and pulls a decision win..

CTC the odd thing about ur post is.. yo claim the fight to be even but your analysis of how the fight will go doesnt make it sound close AT ALL
Hendo would have his way with Rich, hes too good of a wrestler and his hands are too heavy
and ya.. why would Rich maul Bustamante? Busta is no can, the guy should have a win over Chuck as well if you wanna really go that route
Rich is a shoot fighter, he isnt gonna maul any top fighter.. he can hang, and beat the best of them.. but maul them? nope.. only cans.
