matt lindland is 37, he is getting old, gsp is getting better. i think gsp is quick enough to avoid the clinch effectively. JMO

gsp has better wrestling skills and could take anderson down at will BARRING the fact that he doesnt eat a knee and get ko'd. and that if he fights tentatively that he would be able to control silva on the ground. i DO believe that if gsp beat silva it would be a really boring fight.

see that is 100% how i feel the fight could possibly go. it's cool if you disagree with me. i havent been watching mma for too long, like a year about. im only 17. some shit i say might be off but you could sure as hell be alot more polite as my knowledge is still growing for the sport. i would appreciate it rather than you jumping all over me dude.

i know lindland could take gsp down but i still think gsp is quick enough and has a good enough jab to avoid the clinch alot of the time. you can feel free to debate with me there to. but random insults wouldnt help anything really.

I just don't think you understand how moving up to 185 would effect GSP.

GSP cuts from about 190. He fights at WW because he is one of the biggest strongest ww. Which makes his take downs that much better, his tdd that much better.

Moving up to 185 he would no longer be the biggest nor the strongest. He would actually be a small MW. Which would mean guys would be man handling him like he does people at ww. That would make his TDD and take downs not as effective because he would be trying to stuff a much larger stronger guys take downs. Also trying to take someone down at mw he would have to deal with guys who over power him an can stop his take downs.

Franklin cuts from 220-230 down to 185 by fight time he is prob 200-208 if not more. GSP would be 190 an Rich has a few inches on GSP. Rich would grab ahold of GSP an he wouldn't know what to do, because he couldn't muscle his way out of it.

Anderson bullied Franklin around like he was a school girl. Anderson is tall an lanky but is very strong.

Anderson would man handle GSP bad. I know GSP can take Anderson down, but he can not keep him their.

Anderson knows his tdd is not that good but he is working on it, and against Franklin it looked like it got a little better. Anderson is about to come train in the states for wrestling. He knows that is his weak link and why he is improving it.

But GSP at mw would be just another mid fighter. He is just so used to being bigger an stronger that wouldn't happen if he was at mw.

GSP chooses to fight at WW because he knows he wouldn't be top of mw.

Thats why Franklin came down to 185.

Sherk to 155.

GSP has skills no denying that but his skills won't be the same at mw.

ok i understand that, your right about that. but ive still thought gsp would be able to take silva down despite the difference. some comments that i have made recentely were biased due to being in the middle of a heated argument

but i still stand by on everything i said on pages 3 4 and 5 lol
