Renato "Babalu" Sobral vs. Dean Lister

Lister is one of my Favorite fighters, The boogeyman is great, But we really havn't seen anything impressive with his stand up. Hopefully his cardio gets up to snuff at 185 (i guess he's there so he doesn't have to fight Tito @ 205) I think if they fought tomorrow Sobral would win 7/10 times. But i think Lister is well on his way to flipping that figure.

Would give Lister a slight advantage in BJJ but Babalu has better wrestling and has far superior stand up. Also has the experience factor. Lister has not faced the level of opponents that Babalu has beat.

yes babalu has better standup but he probably be stupid and take lister down like he did with chuck everyone thought that he would go for the takedown and the idiot comes at a counter puncher swinging babalu is a total idiot and everyone thinks that babalu is some submission god and that he can tap anyone out ill saythis i said it in another therad babalu cant even tap tito out how is he going to tap lister out lister can tap babalu out babalu cant tap lister out

Woah there buddy...Take a breath and use some punctuation. Calling Babalu an idiot is pretty ridiculous too.

And when did Tito and Babalu ever fight? That's right...Never.

Also...Who was the last person to take Chuck down without eating a multitude of hard punches to the face? Babalu looked pretty lost and it was not smart to try and stand with Chuck (especially chasing after him when he shoulda backed off and regrouped), but you can't just shoot in without setting it up on a guy like chuck or it's knee or kick to the head and lights out even faster than it really happened.

Ima saying that in another thread they said that babalu would tap tito in the first round and i dont think he can tap tito out listers teammate and i dont think he can tap lister either still he went at chuck swinging like hes trying to knock him out and after he got hit he remembered shoot and chuck knocked him out

well no shit he cant tap the ADCC absolute champion in the first. but tito is not lister, being someones teammate doesnt even make you anything similar in ability
