Lawler is overrated, he is not top 10 middleweight (not saying he doesn't deserve top 10 ranking, but I think there are 10 guys who would beat him) and even though Baroni has looked poorly lately he still has a chance to beat all of these guys. Don't get why people make a big deal about him, he would be a gatekeeper in the UFC, IMO he is no better of a fighter then guys like Jason Macdonald and Travis Lutter.

Other then Diaz, who has knocked Robbie out. Scott hits damn hard an was connecting on Robbie an he didn't go down.
to me it looks like Baroni doesn't have the chin anymore.
And what do you mean Leben doesn't have the skill. Leben is more skilled then Joey standing and again look what he did to Baroni.
Baroni just doesn't have it anymore.
Leben is just like baroni, same kind of power, not as good striking but better cardio. He is good.

Baroni has the wrestling, hand speed and hand power to be a really good fighter. Baroni just doesn't have the conditioning though.

A year ago not so bad. I mean he had just gotten beat by Shamrock but not the end of the world. And before that he actually beat Nishijima by using his wrestling ability and showed promise of becoming a smarter fighter. But now he has been beaten by Hose who is a tough guy but a cliche Hawaii brawler and was just raped by Villasenor.
At this point he has relegated himself to an entertaining fighter who's only game plan is to either knock you out or get knocked out. Now I'm not saying he will never beat a decent fighter again but I would not pick him against any quality opposition.

Ya I agree, even though I dont think he was as much "get knocked out" as he was knock you out.. he had a lot more fight in him back in the day..
as for Dorks comment, I dont see Phil's chin being weaker or gone... he just doesnt have as much fight in him.. he caves in too easily now. Joey was hittin him hard but I thought that was a premature stoppage and Baroni was just hurt.. not rocked or out.

Caving in too easily is worse than not having a chin though, isn't it? Haha. You're saying a guy who's built his career on, "I'M THE BEST EVAH," not having enough heart...
It wasn't a premature stoppage. He's 10-10, has zero cardio, and can't walk from here to there without losing.
He'd lose to all three, and he'd lose convincingly.
