Frank Shamrock vs. Robbie Lawler

With news that elite xc has acquired ICON and king of the cage the possibility of Frank Shamrock vs. Robbie Lawler has just come to mind. This could be a big money fight as well as a test for both men.
As far as the fight goes this is probably the stiffest level of competition that Frank Shamrock would actually agree to fight.
I see Lawler being able to do some things that Baroni could not due to his superior wrestling (compared to Baroni at least) and he could certainly test Franks chin.

Frank would probably take Robbie down, but if not, Lawler by KO.

This fight would be a joke Frank will kill Robbie. Frank better on the ground and harder hitter IMO

Ya Robbie is a more dynamic striker than Baroni, flung knees etc .

Franks stand up looked pretty crisp in his last outing but I doubt he would choose to stand with Lawler although he may fail to take him down and have no choice

wow i like rob's agressiveness but frank would absolutely beat him every which way possible.

i think Lawler KO's Frank standing, just my opinion but while Frank may be the more techinical striker I think Lawler's hand speed, power and overall striking ability would overwhelm him standing. Frank's strategy would definitely be to try too take the fight too the ground if he were able too that he would win but i dont think it happens.

frank would win on the ground, yes. hand speed? frank has the faster hands. but lawler does have explosive and powerful punches, im not saying that it isnt possible but frank would pick him apart as the superior striker.
