the buakaw fight was not what i expected. i knew it would be a war, and i knew Sato would make it to a decision, but damn a KO?
i've never seen Buakaw get KO'd.
and also,
i was very impressed with Gago Drago
i thought Masato would KO him, but im glad he made it to a decision. thats a big accomplishment.
edit:
Masato after defeating Gago Drago
"I knew from the first round that there was no way I'd lose because I could clearly see Drago's techniques and strategy," said Masato afterward. "But still I couldn't hit him cleanly, I think all the Dutch fighters have the same fighting style -- even if they are damaged by low kicks, they keep coming forward. I wasn't totally satisfied with tonight's fight because I was supposed to KO Drago -- I don't consider him a strong fighter so it's not special for me to win a decision against him."
very cocky. i like this, but i really wanted Gago to win that fight.

^^ Damn that is seriously cocky.. I don't care for stuff like that..
I can't believe Buakaw got KO'd.. I hate seeing one of my favorites go down like that.. Buakaw didn't look like he was out cold.. but he was definitely hurt bad...
Sato completely shocked the kickboxing world with that...

Well.. I don't think he took a dive.. I mean.. I don't know Buakaw personally, but that doesn't seem like him.
I could understand why your friends would think that.. the KO didn't look natural (as if to say.. there are natural KOs lol).. they don't always look so flashy...

nah, it's just really hard for us to digest Buakaw losing via KO. lol
we're big fans, so this was a shocker.

I wonder how Buakaw is going to come back from this loss.
When he lost last time, he started trying to fight like a crazy man lol.. Buakaw fighting every 3 seconds...

It was a strange looking ko for sure, he looked like he just gave up and fell down lol. A lot of people are saying it was probably a knee to the body that hurt him and the punch was just the finisher. Pretty cool to see Sato pulling out the upset, don't usually see a big upset like that in Max.
