I actually did this one yestertday! It took me like 40 tries to actually get it during rolling, but it worked. Thought I was extremely careful when trying it, you can hurt someone really badly doing it.

If anybody watched the episode of TUF last night, Serra was showing Johnnie the Scrima Side Control before the fight with Mac.
Thought that was cool.

On a side note, Mac looked down right nasty last night. Whooped the shit out of Johnny everytime he tried to attack or even breathe for that matter.

Yeah, he was doing a great job of using that far-side arm hook to neutralize the takedown and control Johnny's posture. Reminded me of Sakuraba's oldschool kimura counter to a single leg. He was slick with it.

Tried out the side control today......Amazing!!!....
very easy to get and maintain in my opinion.....I set up the americana a couple times....and an omoplata from it...
Love this position!! Thanks Noob....
I took videos too...so Ill slap them up hopefully tommor....

Wow... I know I'll be trying this tomorrow! Looks like it's a lot easier to control and gives you a lot of options (that slicer is just disgusting!)
Plus it looks like a bitch to sweep from that position!
