Default Gabe Ruediger Changes His Story: 'I lost Focus'

I think it is funny that les than a week ago he was quoted as saying that he didn't see the show as a real part of the UFC and therefore did not take it seriously.

Now he is saying something a little different, perhaps to try and cover his own fat ass:

“I lost focus of what I do and who I was and I had a horrific showing” says Ruediger.

“I went in there thinking of it just as a reality show and lost focus of what I do, which is fight. I forgot that it’s always about the fights first and foremost.” says Ruediger.

"I made some huge errors and I’ve got to make amends” he says simply.

Too bad Dana isn't so forgiving.

I doubt we will ever see this guy in the UFC. His mouth is well ahead of his abilities not to mention he is well behind mentally. He burned his bridge with Dana which is essentially career suicide. He showed he has little heart. He got his 15 mins of fame but I think it cost him his career in MMA.

Its funny that he's changing his story but honestly he's just a fat ass poser who doesn't have the will to fight.

What I find ironic about the whole situation is that I remember reading a number of mma columns where the writers picked Gabe to win the whole show.

Hilarious.

i dunno he hates ortiz but lets him fight mostly because of ratings or whatever. So i say if gabe gets enough media coverage of what a fat ass he is then dana will have no choice but to hire him back

I don't think his career's over. Dana was supposedly pissed, but I guarantee everybody and anybody now wants to see him get his ass handed to him. That equals money. I almost guarantee we see him on an undercard at a fight night in the next year or so.

I think we'll see Gabe in the octagon one more time. He'll probably be given his "fat chance" to get beck into it. Dana probably has him fight at Middleweight and serves him up to a killer striker as a tune up fight or even a debut. But, either way he'll used just for the punishment. And Dana can say,"Hey, I'm not that big an asshole. Everyone gets a second chance around here."

And his opponent will be someone that will be favored to kick his ass. He will NEVER get an easy opponent now.

Well you know what, I think he'll be back in the UFC. I'll bet that if Wiman doesn't make the contract fight, they'll put him in there with Gabe and the fight will get some interest based there supposed rivalry/tension on the show. Personally, I hope Wiman mops the floor with him lol
