i think it should have been worse. People who get busted for pot get 6-9 months but he got 8 for coke. he should have got 9-12 months. At least i dont have to hear his mouth for a few months

These guys have plenty of time between fights to party down and still get clean. I don't f'n get it. How can they make such assanine decisions? I guess It's just a matter of having their priorities straight. Kinda pisses me off now that I think about it.

I think that that was the stupidest thing that melvin could have done. IMO he is one of the most exciting fighters to watch and is a highlight reel waiting to happen. He should of thought of the consequences and not done it in the first place.

He's an adult and should have known better. I don't know what else to really say. I just hope he doesn't go down the deep end during his suspension.

hes a loud mouth punk and i hope to never see him in the ufc again. the shit he pulled with clementi and this, im glad he is gone for 8 months.

to be honest, when he left Stevenson hanging there with his gloves out and Guillard walked away before the fight, I hoped the match would last two seconds.. and it did.. and I smiled..

And Joe Stevenson showed incredible class after the match. Guillard can be a big prick

because Melvin thinks he is such hot shit and is better then he is and thinks he is the best thing in the world, in reality he is a pile of shit. He is a oxygen theft

If MMA were truly a mainstream sport then the recent positive testings would have made it look really bad.

Fighter need to be discouraged now, because I don't want to see Jay Leno making a joke about a fighter's drug use six months from now.

Celebrities only need to f*** up once for it to be mentioned hundreds of times, so hopefully the guys will understand the responsibility of representing their sport.
