Ain't this a bitch, who the hell pays 40-50 bucks for such a lame card, I am sure Okami replacing Kampmann does not propel the card to PPV status. IMO

From the homepage news section -
According to UFC.com's event page for UFC 72 "Victory", you can kiss the free showing on Spike TV goodbye.
The "event type" was originally listed as Spike TV, which is where commercials and other advertisements had stated the show would air. However, it appears that the show is no longer going to air on Spike for free, but PPV instead.
Could this have anything to do with UFC.com also announcing today that top contender Yushin Okami is the official replacement for Martin Kampmann in the main event against former Middleweight champion Rich Franklin?

LOL, I wonder who the hell would order it if that's the case. Franklin/Okami would be a good PPV fight, but it's hardly main event worthy.

I agree that it's business for the UFC, Dana says that they took it on the chin putting UFC 70 free on spike with all the money lost on PPV and marketing it in UK. I can guarantee that it didn't break their bank doing it, now all of a sudden a free card, that too very lame, I might add, is turned into a PPV. We do not mind PPV's but give us fans a card that is worth the money spent. This is just bullshit.........................

Why does it bother anyone that it won't be free? If it is going to air at 3PM EST it'll be on BT before the end of the day
