Josh barnett, Randy Couture, Andrei Arlovski, fuck even Tim Sylvia would be a good fight if for nothing else watching tim get his ass kicked. thats just a few HW's that fedor hasnt thought. then what about possibilities like Chuck Liddell moving up in weight and fighting fedor. Bodog may have the $$ but they dont have the talent and i think Fedor should stay where the talent is. Dana white is gonna pay him good money. he'll prolly make at least a million a fight plus PPV and shit like that.

I agree totaly with what you just said. I want to see him fight AA to and Monson. Your right, I hate timmy, but he should fight him as well. Fedor backed out of fight with Monson because Monson lost to sylvia. That is BS. He should of taken that fight anyways. He knew he was not getting the same $$$ he would of gotten if Monson had won that fight with Tim. Gets me a little heated about that, i was waiting a long time to see that Fedor Monson happen. ....By the way,,,Rep'ed HOWIE

I think he was just trying to get the point across. There are others he should fight as well.

Not any more. In the past year his net worth has gone from $1 Billion to $500 Million. That is still alot of money but it's not a very fucking pretty trend and with the government cracking down harder and harder on online gambling, it's only gonna continue that direction.

Damn you Calvin Ayre, he should use that 3 mill plus on some new announcers, and his production. Colonel Bob, and Paul Lazenby make Bodog hard to watch.

It is said htat he is to be expanding business to Europe and Asia and that his recent loss from the government cracking down on online gambling will make it up, it is just going to take some time.
But even at $500 million BoDog is in no danger of going bankrupt by pursuing MMA and paying Fedor $3 million per fight but it would be wise to get him a worthy opponent that will get us to purchase the PPV.
Havig Fedor and Aleks on a card is PPV worthy IMO, plus the free agents like Barnett, Lindland, Monson, Trigg, Sergei (not sure if he's free'd up or not). Lawler maybe free's up, not sure about all of the PRIDE contracts but surely some of them must be free'd up and in the process of negotiation. Maybe a few of the plethora of talented LW's.
There is definitely something there, whether or not Calvin Ayre will know what do do with it or how to aquire it remains to be seeen but if the above mentioned names were on a PPV with some even matchups between them and probably a few lopsided mathups, it would make for a very worthy PPV buy.
Since Calvin has the money to fund it and the online gambling is being cracked down on by the government MMA is the perfect cash crop and honestly, so far it has been pretty impressive. Look at how WFA flopped adn look at Elite XC's first event, I think that last Bodog was much better and it seems like Bodog may get the hang of it and become a great promotion.

He didn't get to be a billionaire by running unprofitable businesses.
If he's consistently running cards w/ 3.5 - 4 million dollar payroll, plus production, advertising, plus trying to make up ground on Pride & the UFC, it will be a while before he sees a profit, if ever.
