I know Emmit Smith charges for his autographs, and although I’m a die hard Cowboys fan (please no trash throwing from the stands), I have lost respect for Emmit for adding to his millions by charging children for his signature. I would pay for none. If I was require to pay 5 bucks for the picture and I got it signed I would. I don't think charging the people that have made you a millionare or a healthy professional athlete deserv this kind of treatment. We pay for event tickets, merchandise, we live and breath this and any sport, we support you...and now we have to pay you for an authograph? No Thank you.

I wonder if the charging for autograph thing is new with Tim. He signed both a T-shirt and my autograph book for me free. One thing about having an autograph book, rather than something like a baseball or mma gloves, is celebrities can be more sure that you are getting it for yourself.

BTW, did anyone see Dirk Nowliski (bad spelling) on Punk'd? It was hilarious and it's along this theme. They had some kid bugging him at a restaurant to sign literally bags of memorabilia. Dirk is such a nice guy he just couldn't turn a kid down. When he FINALLY wouldn't sign anymore after about 3 bags, the manager came over and asked him not to come back to his restaurant. The look on Dirk's face was freaking classic. You got punk'd Dirk!
