This article pissed me off something fierce. It would have been ok if he gave some facts but basically it was just a rant with nothin but biased opinion

If your going to argue with an ignorant dick about a subject, at least don't argue with ignorant points.
To say most boxers are tall and thin is the most ignorant argument i've ever heared.
First of all, every weight class under 130 has discounted your statement and David Tua, Mike Tyson, George Forman, Jeff Lacy, Sam Peters, hell, most HWs and CW are far from thin. And most mexican boxers IMO are very stocky and short.
Just you should do a little research yourself before flaming someone with ignorant comments.

This MMA v Boxing argument reminds me of fuckin politics. They never talk about the good of their sport, they always just run the opponent through mud. It's pretty tasteless, and retarded if you ask me.

The problem with these jackoff's is that they just can't see a multi faceted sport flourish compared to just stand and punch. They just can't take unconventional things that are actually kicking many other sports ass so badly where popularity and money is concerned. Put this cocksucker in a kimura or triangle choke and let's see what he says then !!!

Ok, this is an obvious piece written to stir up controversy or attention. By talking about this article, I think we're doing exactly what this guy wanted us to do. I dont know this guy but hes trying to be the Howard Stern of sports writing due to lack of his talent in writing.

Its a mainstream sporting event, but not a mainstream cultural thing like Tyson or Ali. Face it, everyone talks about how boxing is dying, but it really is already dead in terms of cultural signifigance.

Great article!
It doesn't sound to much different in tone than all the UFC vs. Pride rants that have been standard fare on MMA forums for years. He's a boxing fanboi.
