When did they start giving out bonuses? I think that's a great idea.

Yeah at the time of his first fight he was still wrestling in college and therefore could not compete professionally in a sport, so he entered as an amateur.

They have been doing it for a little while now, I would say 9 months to a year but the bonuses here recently increased in value. I think they were closer to 10 or 20 grand before.

I think the bonuses really help make a fighter go out there and try for the ko knowing they will maybe get an extra 20 grand for the night.

I think they should give bonuses for going in and getting KTFO, and be deducted if they go to a boring dc.

This way guys would be less likely to hold back and eek out a victory.

Agree about the boring dec shit. Only way that they should get any more money for being ktfo is everytime the show it on a highlight reel they get a little money lol.

It would just be an incentive to go and out put on a good show.

But yeah, if they made royalties on HL reels Babalu would be the richest man in the UFC lol.
