I dont know if I would consider it wasted but I have to throw Frank Mir out there. Also Melvin Guillard hes such a great athlete great wrestler and striker but is a prime example of all the talent in the world and no brain to go with it

Frank Shamrock for sure!! The guy is a legend when he retired undefeated in the UFC but he did that too soon in his prime. No one was going to beat him.
But in terms of most talented who always loses but people still want to watch him fight I would say:
Vitor Belfort
BJ Penn

Vitor Belfort and Randleman for sure..
Vitor should have a record like 30-4 record, instead of his lackluster 15 - 8.
He has a very good chin, good BBJ skills, and the quickest hands ever seen in MMA.
Too bad what a waste.

Kevin Randleman: all that wrestling talent, more-than-decent boxing, strong as a goddamn gorilla. But he hardly ever beats top-tier talent.
David Terrell: reasons already mentioned.
Frank Shamrock: quit in his prime, ridiculous fucking ego.
Aleksander Emelianenko: he's got superior natural skills to his brother, but just goes in there expecting to get the KO...he never really tries to work for anything.

A Emelianenko superior to his brother? Fedor beat him in a SAmbo comp and has better Sambo then him, I think A. Emelianenko is the better striker, but Fedors style works better in the ring.. but defensively, Fedor is superior to Aleks.

really would could put most of hamer house in this catagory. They are all great wrestlers, strong as hell, but refuse to learn anything else. I mean look at Baroni, he was a 2 time all american wrestler, and a very good boxer and he still loses to average to sub par fighters
