Fight of the year - early contenders
Well, 2007 is flying by. We've had a lot of cards and solid fights (and huge upsets) this year, especially the last few weeks.
With the year basically 1/3 over, what are your top candidates so far for fight of year?
I like Couture/Sylvia, Huerta/Garcia, Diaz/Gomi in that order.

Diaz / Gomi .. Huerta / Garcia.. Hendo and Wanderlei was a good fight too.

Gomi/Diaz got my vote
But I think that Couture vs. Liddell for the HW championship on Dec. 29th will end up being the fight of the year after Randy KO's Chuck Standing up.
Doubt me if you want, but mark my words.

Yea that is alot of wishfull thinking on my part but if Chuck gets by Rampage, or even if he doesn't (after all Randy got a shot at the HW title after coming off of two losses) and Randy gets past Gonzaga, which I think he will, it could be a great fucking fight that everyone would be interested in IMO, I think it would be a great main event on a Pride Vs. UFC card even though they are both UFC fighters.!!
