PPV Vs Spike TV

what was everyones opinion on getting to see UFC 70 for free. I personally was annoyed as hell with the amount of commercials that were on. in between every round there would be a commercial and it was pissing me right off. i understand that it is cable tv and commercials were to be expected but hell, the amount of commercials lastnight and the timing was just annoying.

I'm with you 100%, but we both know that the commercials paid our tab. I just flipped over to the playoffs and checked in between rounds. I'm also pretty surprised no one slipped and dropped an F bomb or anything.

The commercials between rounds didn't bother me at all. There is a 1 minute break between the rounds, that we would have to deal with on a PPV, this time it was just commercials instead of watching the corners.

I thought this event went Much more smoothly in terms of keeping the flow of the show going compared to some of the UFNs.

the commercials i was getting annoyed the fuck outta me. but i always get them on spike. i think it because im in canada because all i get in fucking GAY commercials for star choice satelite. and not just 1 either. like 5 in a row. uGh

The commercials were annoying the hell out of me too. I understand advertising pays the bills, so I'm not going to boycott or anything - it just got old.

In terms of commercials paying for the thing - I don't personally pay for a lot of UFC PPV's anyway. I watch almost all of them down at the local Hooters with some friends. So instead of $40 per PPV I cough up the cost of a chicken sandwich and drink.
