Joe Riggs addicted to Pain Pills.

Did anyone else get a chance to catch Joe on the Beatdown radio show? I would like to say that I would like to commend Joe on coming clean and telling people that he has a problem so that he can get help. This guy is a monster and has all the potential in the world, and he is only 24 so there is still time. My best wishes go out to the guy.

In other news I think I might be addicted to MMA. I watched eighteen fights today between the three live events and some UFC that was on before 70 started.

i can't say i blame the guy. he's had a struggling career as of late and had to bury his baby. that's enough to drive a man to anything.

Kicking those pain pills is tough.

I went through 300 hydrocodines after my ACL reconstruction, and its a monster. Luckily I had some herbal remedies and was able to kick the pills.

Brett Favre battled with em. Vicodins are white monsters that suck your spirit out.

They have got to be wicked. So many people you wouldn't expect have accidently gotten addicted. By accidental, I mean they have started taking them for a legit reason like a surgery or chronic pain. I've got a prescription for vicodin that I dole out to myself very sparingly because they scare me. I've got to be hurting bad and maxed out the over-the-counter stuff before I'll take one. Works great for their legit purpose though.

The only effect I see with them is getting rid of the pain. I have never noticed a "high" from them, so I'm not sure why ppl take them recreationally. I've always wondered how ppl become addicted. Is their effect different if you aren't in pain? Anyone know more about this?
