Cro Cop's opinion of UFC HW Competition----SPOILER

I havent seen the fight yet, but obviously i have heard about the headkick he received from gonzaga that ko'd his ass......is it possible that Cro Cop underestimated the level of competion in the UFC to where he thought he would walk through everyone and claim the title? I haven't seen the fight yet, so I cant voice my opinion on whether it was a fluke or not...but im starting to think cro cop might have been a little cocky coming into this fight with gonzaga..

Maybe everyone just expects too much from Cro Cop, i mean hes still human and fighter hype can really go too far sometimes, it must put huge pressure on the fighters to live up to these impossible standards that are sometimes expected by the media and fans,
Even if a fighter is clearly better in every area, it doesnt mean they cant be knocked out or subbed,with some of the talk that surrounds Cro Cops fights sometimes you'd expect his opponent to just stand there and let him do his "highlight-reel" kicks, but thats not how it works and in the real world anyone can beaten.

I think a lot of people/ fighters thought the HW's in the UFC swer soft. We'll find out a lot this summer w/ possible Big Nog v. Silvia and Cro Cop v. Arlovski matchups

it makes me wonder now how they are gonna hype cro cop...i mean all they talk about are his highlight real headkick ko's and now he's on the receiving end of one from a fighter that a lot of people dont know

i saw the fight and i can tell you that gonzaga came in with a game plan.
he controlled the fight from start to finish. Cro Cop got beaten by the better man on the day. If gonzaga is as prepared for the upcoming cotoure fight as he was for cro cop we're gonna see a classic.

to bad the rest of the PPV was pretty average

very dissapointed with werdum's outing. got outclassed for 3 rounds. Arlovski got hit with a few clean hard shots on the chin and was unfased. should we question werdum's power?

i am starting to really dislike machida. he came in the octagon to run around and dodge attacks. he should try soccer. i do have to say that he's got some awsome skills in evading. good hands and his kicking is not bad either. he needs to disguise his switch stance, right low kick a little better. i just don't like fighters that fight for a decision. i wanna se him get KTFO.

Bisping dominated the First round and come second round he got hit with a knee and a right, got dropped and he barely escaped a kimura. he's lucky sinosic was gassed and didn't have the strength to finish it.

not even gonna bother with the ausserio vs kongo fight. piss break

This is not Mirco first loss nor his last, I would to see him step to this and come back to clean house

its all about gameplan... look at the serra gsp fight... no one can deny that GSP has the better overall skillset compared to serra... but serra had the right gameplan... strike early strike hard.... and it worked.... mma has evolved to te point that other than training hard and mastering different techniques you need to study your opponent and prepare based on that... it could be that cro cop did not do this 'enough' and paid for it or gonzaga studied cro cops fights well... well cro cop has stumbled a few times before but he has come back stronger so lets hope he does come back stronger otherwise the fedor cro cop 2 might be pushed back further...

maybe gonzaga is the real deal? who knows? im ready to see how cro cop bounces back from this..i think he will come back stronger, demolish his next opponent, and then he will make quick work of gonzaga in the rematch. i think cro cop definitely underestimated gonzaga.

yeah... i think he underestimated him aswell... to be honest i think gonzaga was meant to be a easy win for cro cop to establish himself but o well... this is not pro-wrestling... lol

well the kick just could have killed him. it was insane. im huge crocop fan but now he doesnt get the title shot and i think he s not gonna fight again
