Since the show is tape delayed, I am making a discussion thread for each time zone. Remember just because you saw a fight doesn't mean people in another time zone have, so keep all discussion in here.

Damnit Werdum! I had you before the fight, but when you came out to "Welcome to the Jungle", I was SUPER pumped. I have always been someone who claimed that Arlovski is overrated but tonight I am silenced.

**edit** Fuck you UK! Werdum is a great opponent, no need to boo Arlovski -- he did a damn good job against a great fighter. This was the fight I was looking forward to tonight.

yeah Werdum was explosive but just could not get the takedown and there was no hope to win on his feet.

I went into that fight thinking that Cro Cop would dominate. I heard that Couture picked Gonzaga and my initial thoughts were that it was wishful thinking. I WILL NEVER DOUBT COUTURE EVER AGAIN!

That dude is an Oracle of MMA.

I must say though, I want the Natural to dominate Gonzaga in the title fight. I ficken love Couture and am not ashamed of it.

To be honest I thought Arlovski/Werdum was a very weak fight to sit and watch. For me, of the two I thought Werdum was the most proactive about being in a fight. I didn't really see Arlovski doing anything other than bouncing around and holding ground in the middle.

At least Wedum put himself out there when he tried his open handed slaps, IMO Arlovski literally stood around not doing much, a few leg kicks now and then.

I dunno, I would have booing if I had been there, weak fight IMO.

Gotta say, I love the Canadians for all the great culture that they have contributed to the world; Jim Carey, Mike Myers, and (greatest of all) Trailer Park Boys. I swear, if you are American (like me) and have never been exposed to Trailer Park Boys; I tell you it's the greatest comedy ever made. No joke, unbelievably hilarious.

Canadians absolutely dominate the world of comedy, no other nationality comes close to their level of dominance.

OMG I can't believe what I saw in that main event. This seemingly unknown dude defeats the revered Mirko Cro Cop WITH HIS OWN FINISHING MANUEVER! A Friggin high kick to the head! Holy crap what a sinking bad feeling I got after seeing how that ended. He had like 8 seconds left in the fight too! And did you see how his leg and ankle buckled the wrong way as he fell KO'd? He walked out of there though albeit disgruntled (to say the least). See, one litttle upset like that can ruin everybodys notion of MMA is fake and the fights are staged in the blink of an eye (or in this case a kick to the head). So for all you non believers out there take heed, anyone is game in mixed martial arts...first GSP and now Cro Cop...Well with the way things are going people expect Liddell to beat Jackson hopefully this "upset" trend will continue and we will have a new LH Champ (one that doesn't doze off in interviews!)
