New Start Time For Ufc 70
Friday, April 20, 2007 - Courtesy of UFC.com
Official weigh-in results for UFC 70 – Nations Collide, which will take place Saturday night at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England.
The originally planned local start time of 6:30 p.m. for UFC 70 has been changed to 5:35 p.m. local time due to production concerns.
I wonder how this will affect the PPV time on Bell, it's starting at 3pm est in canada. I have already ordered it. It's locked in and timer on.

Anyone have any idea if the fights will be up on the internet before they air on spike? I think that they will because someone will get the PPV and say, "Hey, I'll beat Spike to the punch" and whoever that is will get rep from me.

Wouldnt worry about it, its an all day replay so if you miss the first hour just tape it later.

It won't.
They're starting the arena show early in order to make sure all of the "dark" matches are finished in time for them to go live with the PPV at the scheduled time, without pulling what Pride did last time out, with us able to hear dark matches going on while they spent 30 minutes talking. Grr.
By the way, I'm wondering the same thing as God. Why aren't you watching it for free on Spike?

Yeah, he does. So does God, and so do I. It's showing on Spike in Canada, too, which is where the original poster said he's from.

What are you talking about?
This is not on any site.
Not ufc.com or ufcjunkie or mainia or sherdog or the UG.
Don't worry guys, I doubt it is true.
UFC 70 will start as planned.

Cool, thanks
I don't know, I just enjoy it more live. Something about watching tape delay just isn't the same. Also I don't have to wait until 9 and there will be no commercials. Can do something else tonight.
I also watched the last Pride PPV at 3 am
