Could Machida cut to 185lbs?
He evidently weighed in at 199 for his fight with Heathcliff tomorrow. Does anyone here who trains or has other direct knowledge on the subject know if the guy could drop down to middleweight? I know he looks pretty ripped already, but man he would be a real freak at 185, and he'd probably make Rich Franklin have night terrors.

I heard that he might want to move up to hw, but I can't see how if he weighed in at 199.

I assume his scales must of been off or something, I can guarantee you that it wasn't the plan to come in 6 pounds under weight, I'm sure he will be over 205 by fight time, but he is probably not happy that he weighed in at 199. This is not a good sign, I'm standing by my pick of Heath.

He was under-weight for the Hoger fight and the Vernon Tiger White fight.
I think he is just small for 205 but too big for 185  |

he use to be fat lol, I think he could peak at 185 but he would be a very ripped 185, more speed then power

Didn't he fight a few of his fights at HW?

This is kind of what I was thinking, but then again, Henderson weighed in at 199 for his fight with Silva and he wasn't looking very flabby. I think the answer might be that he can get there but it would be a rough cut, like Filho and Franklin must have to go through. |

Yeah if its true it is really not good. Cutting an extra 6 pounds isn't good. How did Heath look? |
