Rory is no can and he might give JMac some trouble, but I think he is too weak.
But who knows.
It took Okami till the 3rd rd to put Singer away and Okami would destory JMac IMO.

Yea, he hits hard, and anything can happen. I doubt it will but it would be hard for Franklin to come back after than one and expect a title shot anytime soon, if he loses this one he drops out of the top ten IMO.

Maybe, but he'd be right outside of the top ten. Franklin's is made out of concrete either.

As someone who has followed MacDonald since before his UFC debut here is my scouting report:
-Long arms but unpolished striker
-Does not throw hard punches
-Rapidly becoming a complete submission specialist
-Willing to take punishment
-Bad nickname
I'm not really up on this Rory Singer guy. Who can fill me in?

Singer's striking is better (not great), but Macdonald can withstand it.
Singer has really good bjj, just not as good as Macdonald's.
Can't take as much punishment as Macdonald.

Who knows man.
GSP is still in the top ten after losing to Serra.
But losing to Kampman would definitely set him back. |

I'll take Singer on this one.
-He can take a TON of punishment and is an unorthodox striker...which will be enough to take Mac off his game and lose.
