And here is my overall thoughts on the card, I forgot to send them the first time so I they got left out.


Overall I think this is a solid card to make a comeback to Europe with. Any card that has three top heavyweights such as Cro Cop, Werdum, and Arlovski is going to be a pretty good card in my book. The only real problem that I have with the card is the Bisping vs. Sonosic fight for obvious reason. I think Bisping has great potential but I thought he could have done better in his last fight and I would rather him fight somebody that will test him, and let us get a better idea of where he is at. This will be an exciting card, I think there will be some great KO’s and probably a couple of boring decisions, but hey, a free event is a free event, you won’t here me complaining.

And My break down of the Silva Vs. Kongo fight if anyone is interested:

Cheick Kongo vs. Assuerio Silva

Kongo was once a said to be the future of the HW division, or at least he was going to be a big player. But, after his last outing all that has changed. He came into the UFC with two big wins both ending in the first round. Then came the fight with Carmelo Marrero, and I must say Kongo didn’t look so good fighting off of his back. Maybe it was just an off night, I don’t know, but what ever hype the guy had quickly left him after the loss.
Assuerio Silva has had a tough time in the UFC, I mean how can anyone expect you to fight to the best of your ability when you opponent just shit themselves? In his next UFC fight he was matched with undefeated Brandon Vera. Vera made quick work of Silva winning by Guillotine at 2:39 of the first round. Since then he has two solid wins in smaller organizations, but is now, once again, getting a shot at the big time.
I think, if Kongo can keep the fight standing he will win, and I think that he should be able to do that. I’ll say Kongo by KO late in the first round.*

You guys need someone editing this stuff for you... the analysis in there is good, but with the lousy grammar and sentence structure, you're going to turn off a lot of new visitors to the site.


...Or maybe I'm just being anal about it, and really need finals to be over.

Not only does it need some serious editing, it isn't really a roundtable. You guys just all gave your isolated opinions on each fight without interacting at all. It would be more interesting with some back and forth.

Also, get some pictures. The page is pretty dull. All you really need is a headshot of each guy to ID your pick. And it might serve you well to maybe trim the roster by one person.

actually, I only made one mistake in my dissertation. I just read it again. I can post it if people request but damn Howie, it seemed that you only screwed up on my articles. It's not that serious though. Look at the context for now peoples, I'm sure the editing will get better with age.

i have to say i liked the "roundtable". Very imformative since i dont know everyones records. Love the site and new ideas like these just make it better
