WWE on the other hand, when MMA is pretty much real wrestling (I hate to make the comparison but you get what im saying) your gonna zap all there fans away, I mean I hate to make even more WWE comparions but lets face it! they have similar presentations too.

lol, I totally feel what you feel when you bring up WWE when talking about MMA

I can't stand that shit! Whenever MMA and pro-wrestling are brought up in the same breath. It's totally idiotic.

I understand that some of these retarded wrestling fans have started watching MMA, but they are the same assholes at every UFC fight where they start booing because they can't understand what's going on in the ground game. That shit never happens in Pride.

They're a bunch of morons who would enjoy a fucking Kimbo parking lot fight over a world class MMA matchup between 2 BJJ blackbelts.

Thanks for the link.

These types of articles are getting better and better with time. Plus I'd love to see Floyd get his face smashed in by any of the LW's in the UFC.

Floyd is a great boxer, but today it's all about fighters. Guys who can defend themselves against strikes, kicks, takedowns and submissions.

I'd love to see BJ Penn take Pretty Bitch Floyd down, twist him up and take one of his elbows home in his back pocket.

MMA has been making a name for itself and is becoming bigger every day while boxing has been around the block many times. Its only natural for them to want the other to fail. But as a fan of both, I don't see either going away for a very long time.

Dude there is no reason for you to get so hostile. You are totally slamming people that you really know nothing about. Most of us have watched wrestling sometime in our lives, and there is no reason for you to be such a ass to wrestling fans.
The drunk idiots that boo at UFC matches are mostly random drunk people that come to see blood and guts, not MMA. You can't just say it's all wrestling fans. The reason it doesn't happen Pride is because Pride fans are educated MMA fans. UFC fans are still mostly made up of average Americans. People that haven't been educated enough in the sport of MMA.

To be honest, I think wrestling fans are the type of fans that would embrace all aspects of MMA.

Either way you shouldn't be such a dick. Just because it's a MMA site, doesn't mean you can trash Wrestling fans. I haven't watched wrestling in years, but it's still offensive.

the whole boxing vs. mma arguement is completely moot. i'm a big boxing fan and an even bigger mayweather fan but hell, he probably kicks like a schoolgirl. no defense whatsoever downstairs and when you've got no defense, you're screwed.

pro-boxing arguements, IMO, only reveal that boxing is an old fashioned sport that has showed little or no evolution in the last few decades. those ideas are as narrow minded and short sighted just as expecting to win a fight using only hands.

Sorry dude... didn't mean to insult you. But one is true competition and the other is just theatrics. I'm not saying wrestlers aren't athletes.... but it is not a competitive sport. It's just entertainment it's like saying circus performers are competitive athletes.... That's all wrestlers are... performers not competitors... they follow a script. Therefor there should be no comparison made between wrestling and MMA, that is insulting.

The reason why I singled out wrestling fans for being the booers was because I feel like watching wrestling is like watching a Rocky movie. Every fight is non stop... 5 suplexes, 8 body slams and a couple of pile drivers thrown in for good measure. If that's what you watch, your expectations of a real fight's pace and action are totally unrealistic. So, you will naturally boo at lulls in the action, because wrestling has none and that is what they are used to. Tell me if this doesn't make sense to you. By the way, I am no wrestling fan but I may have booed the arlovski/werdum fight.
