MMA is a threat to boxing, that is the beef.

If Boxing makes MMA sound like it sucks, the hope is that people will not watch it. When anything is head to head, dispute and debate is bound to occur.

you got a few choice words from PBF, and one article from Lampley other then that what has Boxing said to MMA?

on the other hand, Dana White has used ESPN time to put down boxing, he has gone out to say that it can replace boxing in the olympics, he has used TUF to put down boxing..

it seems like there are fans that can accept the fact that neither sport is going anywhere, and will co-exist and most likely enjoy both

*Added* And MMA is a threat to boxing, MMA is rising and boxing has been declining. MMA fighters are becoming house hold names and showing up on Conan O'Brien and shit. MMA is turning mainstream and boxing is fading (but will have its time again)

Yeah, if it did enter the Olympics, it clearly wouldn't replace anything.. I am not an expert on the Olympics, but I dont think one sport has replaced the other. Although I am quite certain reading about more than one boxer putting MMA down, I can't come up with any names.. so I have to assume that you are right.... ya bassstad...

its been said already, the sport thats in the most trouble because of MMA is wrestling, not boxing.. MMA has obviously taken a lot of WWE fans away.. boxing had its problems before MMA arised and MMA has NOTHING to do with boxing problems, boxing problems are simple.. the HW division, not MMA.

WWE on the other hand, when MMA is pretty much real wrestling (I hate to make the comparison but you get what im saying) your gonna zap all there fans away, I mean I hate to make even more WWE comparions but lets face it! they have similar presentations too.
