Shogun. Not coming to UFC says Dana.
Why the hell not? LHW isnt all that stacked and I dont see why Dana wouldnt bring in Shogun to spice up the LHW division. Shogun is the best and most exciting LHW out there. How many LHW contenders are there in the UFC? There is Chuck, Rampage, Lyoto, Tito, Babalu and thats it. Only Chuck, Rampage and Lyoto (imo) are world class. Only thing I see here is that Dana wants to milk the popularity of Chuck and bring on Shogun when Chuck's popularity goes down. Bring Shogun to UFC damn it!!!

I am actually kinda glad to hear this. It lets me know they aren't going to rape Pride of all the talent. I think we will see other fighters crossing over at LHW though. Pride has a pretty deep pool of talent over there.

I'd really like it if shogun did come to the ufc and whooped everybody. Dana (as usual) wants to protect Chuck.

I don't want them to take all Pride's talent but Shogun coming over is definitely a move I wanted to see.

I dont think hes protecting Chuck he prolly just wants to save that match for the first supershow. Im sure Chuck wants to fight Shogun just as bad as we all wanna see it

You're probably right, but he is protecting Chuck as long as he can. By the time there is a super show, Chuck will be over 40. Then they have an excuse. |

i was really curious about this one. id like to see shogun in the cage. i asked dana about shogun and thats when he told about the pride fighters basically staying in pride. the only time they'll get together is when they do the super show.
i forgot to ask about unification of the belts but from the way it was going i dont think he would have really known at this point

i doubt they are protecting chuck as much as people say. Chuck has taken on all fights that have come his way. I say they are saving this match for the supershow and it wont be when chuck is over 40. Chuck is 37 now

2-3 more big money chuck fights, shogun in to destroy liddel and now you have the new face of the division.
