I want to see him in the UFC but it will make for a seriously good superMMAbowl at the end of the year if he stays in Pride. We will see.

I agree with you there. Also keep in mind that Dana wants an earth shattering opponent for Chuck at the first UFC vs Pride event. And since that guy is no longer named Wanderlei Silva, Shogun meets that criteria. After Wandy lost to Dan, Dana was asked about Chuck vs Shogun. Dana replied something to the effect of nobody fucking knows who Shogun is in the U.S. Well now Shogun can run through the Pride LHW division and be super hyped up so that when the first MMA superbowl comes around, the U.S. fan will know alot about Shogun and they will appreciate the caliber match that Chuck vs Shogun could be.

Right now, I see Chuck trying to stay outside, Shogun punching his way in, clinching, Chuck getting frustrated, pushing away, landing a couple, same routine, Chuck getting frustrated, trying to get a takedown, then getting pounded.

I am taking names and see what you guys say when Rampage beats Chuck. Shogun is too talented for Chuck. Shogun has great Muay Thai and and can take the fight to the ground. I dont see Chuck winning at all.

Finally, another true genius. Chuck will not have the opportunity against a GREAT striker who will take it to him and keep taking it to him.

WHo the hell is shogun, now that is just down right funny.
THey will know who he is when he beats the hell out of liddel, i think it would also be like when anderson sliva beat franklin. Who the hell is A.Sliva? The american fans had the most dumb founded look on their faces, it would be great.
I don't think they want some guy who is champ and no one knows who he is in america, and chuck is dana's golden boy, can't have him being completely destoryed
I thought a while back shogun said he was staying in pride when he signed his latest contract?

its a good idea that they dont bring any pride fighters over anymore.. well maybe 1 or 2 but thats it it would be best if they kept them the same and not get the pride fans angry that thier favorite fighters are leaving and then when the cross promotional PPV comes all of the UFC fans will be exposed to pride and watch both PPV... cuz lets face it most of the UFC fans dont know about Pride so if they see how good their fighters are they will watch taht probably.. but if all the good fighters go to the UFC they will prob watch one and not go back because all of the good fighters are in UFC
