Pride LW GP in Cali, good or bad?

I wish it were in Japan, with (old) Pride rules.

What does anyone else think?

BTW: Source is the main news page, rescheduling the GP in Cali in July.

I think it'll be good to get Pride some pub in the States, but maybe a little too quick a transition for Pride fans.

I agree that I want the old rules. I think knees to a grounded opponent needs to be allowed. Maybe Dana doesn't want Sherk getting caught while goin for a shoot.

You read it wrong. It doesn't say PRIDE LWGP is gonna be in California. It just says it's gonna start in July. It says PRIDE 35 is gonna take place in California. PRIDE 35 is a seperate event entirely, and will take place in June.

Well the rules were gonna be NSAC rules regarless according to Dana and Fertitta after the UFC/Pride merger. So I guess it isnt a bad thing holding it in Cali, it will be something new and held somewhere new.
