I'm from Copiague(right next to amityville if you don't know it). I wish I was going. My friend from work got tickets and she said they cost some dough.

Are you Polish? It is like a hard-core little Poland there now. My wife is 100% and speaks it fluently, so we go there here and there, but mostly out to Greenpoint.
I got cheap seats for tonight at the Isles for about 45 bux (they are normally 30).
We should also probably get back on topic.
TO ALL:
If the LW GP is not going to be held in Cali, do you think it will be in the States or Japan?

no Pride 35 will be in cali. the first round o the lwgp has been rescheduled for 7/16. no location has been announced.
i would think that the first round and the finals will take place in japan.
i could see the semi finals being held in the states. they could use alot of first round footage to really hype the semi's being in the states. and if they held the semi's here it would be great exposure for Pride to more casual fans.

What does anyone else think?
BTW: Source is the main news page, rescheduling the GP in Cali in July.

Regardsless of where it takes place, the PRIDE rules are dead either way. I'm glad it is in the US so that it gets deserving fighters thier recognition after they showcase thier skills and it will definitely help thier cause if Dana White puts in soem UFC LW's but I'm not so sure that is going to happen.

In our goal to make our first show a success, we have decided to postpone our upcoming event. Like everyone else I'm going to miss the Rules that made Pride different from the UFC, but let's just give it a chance and wait to see a few events before we decide. I hope they can keep most of the roster intact and not send all the best guys over to the UFC. One thing is for sure we won't have stupid fights like Sean O'haire vs. Butterbean. I think it's a good idea to have the first PRIDE event in C.A. It should get good press being the first card under the new ownership.

Unfortuneately I think you're right.
But, The different rules is what I liked about Pride. I enjoy the foot stomps, soccer kicks, knees on the ground, etc.
I'm sure we will never see these in Nevada, But it would be nice if the fights in Japan would still keep them, but I doubt it.
