I think his last fight, in the UFC at least, was against Danny Abbadi (world class fighter...not) and went to a decision. I never saw the fight but no way should he be going to decisions with Danny boy. I really enjoyed his battle with Hominick and if he brings that style against Varner I think he will win.

IMO no matter what Jorge shows up to the fight Varner will be to much for him.

Jorge is only good at one thing... hugging Franklin's nutz.... as a fighter he is subpar and I predict another L on his record.

Reminds me of Capt. Miserable. Good coach and training partner, second or maybe third tier fighter with little heart. He mixed it up with Hominick, but he didn't take that step to win it and convince the judges.

I predict Varner by dominant Unanimous Decision. As weak as Gorgel is I don't recall him ever being really rocked. So I think Varner will keep it standing and pound him to a decision.

Jorge has been injured every time he has fought in the UFC (or so he says).


And he did put a beating on Danny-boi.


But I agree that Varner will be too much for him. Varner was almost too much for Hermes.
