OK this is not meant to be a fighter bashing thread, but we all know there are just some fighters out there that we can't stand to watch for whatever reason and we have no idea why. I'll start out with a couple.
Akira Shoji - Good fighter, interesting personality...but most of his fights are just soooooo freakin boring to me. I have no reason to dislike the guy, but even on the Kamikaze card, on live pay per view in his fight with Gilbert Yvel I thought about changing the channel.
Tim Sylvia - He has talent....and is a big, strong dude. But when he steps into the octagon, his performances could cure insomnia. Sorry Tim but when you have that belt, you fight as if it's in a glass case behind you and all you're trying to do is keep your opponent away from it.
Ricardo Arona - This is coming from a Jiu-Jitsu student, Ricardo Arona is an extremely boring fighter in my opinion. The only time I like watching him fight is when his opponent has really good takedown defense, which usually means Ricardo is getting knocked out. Arona is a great fighter, but I hate his fighting style.
Brandon Lee Hinkle - I have no reason to hate this guy, but honestly....I can't watch the guy because he's so freakin weird looking. Is that weird for me to say? The first time I saw him, I was like "ok I''m not gonna be a fan of this guy"
Royler Gracie - I love grappling....I consider Kazushi Sakuraba one of the most exciting fighters in the world....and I used to think it wasn't possible for him to have a boring fight. Then I saw his fight with Royler Gracie.

I guess it's possible after all.
So that's about it for now....once again I respect all of the fighters I mentioned. I just can't seem to find interest in their fights for whatever reason. I know everyone has a couple of fighters like that. What do you guys think?
