rich franklin rematch w/anderson silva?
anybody know whats the holdup with franklin getting another shot at anderson silva?seems like he's being brought back into the mix very cautiously.i still don't understand his performance in that fight.he seemed either freaked out or very apprehensive.when arlovsky beat tim silva they quickly had 2 more fights.i thought a lot of rich franklin but now i don't know what to make of him.also off point, selling his hummer after receiving it as a gift seemed in poor taste.on e-bay for 80k?if i needed the $$$ i would have sold it quietly.of course auctions can potentially bring in mucho dinero.anyways i thought he'd fight silva soon.guess i'll have to wait and see.another loss to silva would spell disaster to rich's career.of all the fights i've seen over the years, this is the one fight i that left me baffled.any opinions?

People deserve it more then he does right now. They also wanted it in Ohio so he simply has to wait, dont worry he is getting one

Paragraphs, punctuation, and capitalization.
Silva is supposedly slated to defend the title against Marquardt sometime soon. I would imagine that Frankling would be in line to defend the belt after that, unless he gets matched up against a Pride fighter or they bring someone in from Pride to challenge for the title.
Most likely Franklin will fight one more time before getting a chance at the title. If he wins again, I would imagine we'd see Silva v. Franklin 2.

He dont need money, Dana has taken care of him. He was making what maybe 25-40,000 a year teaching he makes more then that in 1 fight. He didnt get paid for coaching on tuf so he got the hummer, and if he didnt drive it why keep it. It had very few miles on it so my guess is he never drove it. Anyway Franklin is fighting Martin at 72 or 73 then his next fight will be for the title. Why would another lose be bad for him. He is what 21 or 22-2 thats good. Losing to Anderson is nothing to cry over he is a great fighter. Im sure after that fight Franklin wanted some fights to get back on a winning track to get some confidence under him. Plus he just beat Macs ass at 68.

I think the major hold up is that Rich Frankline wants to re-negotiate his contract...and Dana probably doesn't want him fighting for the title until they figure it out.

Suprisingly Franklin dont get paid all that much. He signed a long term deal that really isnt helping him, thats why he sold his hummer lol

He signed i believe the longest contract ever in the ufc for 40,000 per fight. It was a 8 fight deal, his last fight on this contract will be against Martin. I imagine that he will get 100,000 a fight after his new contract is made. I wouldnt be surprised if he signs another 8 fight deal just so he gets his money, with added bonus's in there like ppv % and other good things

From what I understand Franklin Vs. Kampmann is the main event one a card with:
Forrest Griffin vs. Hector Ramirez
&
Tyson Griffin vs. Clay Guida
