All about Pancrase?

I have allot of questions about Pancrase,hope you guys could help me out.

Whats up with Pancrase fighting is it still alive?
I have never see Pancrase fighting results and it never see vids of new fights.
Is there any great Pancrase fighters around and is it legal in the US?
Would you think NSAC would ever allow such a fight?
Why is it considered MMA if there are no clinched fists allowed?
And why Abu Dhabi fights are not considered MMA?

1) Pancrase is still alive.
2) There are Pancrase videos out there on Youtube and Dailymotion
3) Nate Marquardt is a 7 time pancrase champ and I think it is Japan organization..
4) It probably is not sanctioned in the US...but it is lesser evil then true MMA so it could be.
5) Good question, I guess because it still allows striking and everything else..I think the rules these days are more like Pride so it makes sense.
6) Abu Dhabi is pure grappling

Pancrase was really close to Shootfighting when it started...I think Shootfighting is closer to Pro-Wrestling...big guys only type thing.

Pancrase now is more like Pride.

Pancrase is always an undeground type of sports, that is why sometimes we dont heard much about their fights...pancrase is one of the original mma sport to me.
