Werdum vs. Arlovski

I have to agree about Arlovski/Werdum being the most interesting fight on the card. I really don't know what will happen. I hope that Andrei wins convincingly, not because I have anything against Werdum (who I have never seen before), but because a vampire mouth guard is a very cool thing, and very hard to come by.

i wouldnt go THAT far...thinking ahead, lets say cro cop defeats randy couture (most likely will) and then hunt were to get a shot...doesnt hunt hold a win over CC in k1 AND mma? I know cc defeated mark hunt once in k1, and he was the first man to drop him, but i could see hunt beating cro cop....what weight does hunt fight at? can he make 265?

Hunt holds one win over Cro Cop by split decision ... IMO it was mainly because he fought more aggressively. Damage was about even, so the judges favored the more aggressive fighter over the counter puncher. Their only other fight was Cro Cop's unaminous decision win in Pride. Actually that fight would've been stopped and ruled a KO at one point if it were MMA rules.


I would bet on Cro Cop in a rematch. Even if it startes going like their last fight, he could probably pull a RNC or something out of his ass.

in regards to the bold print, r u sure about that? i thought they only fought once in pride, and that was hunts split dec win...then i thought they were 1-1 with each other in kickboxing?

edit: just looked at the stats and you're right. hunt defeats cro cop in pride by split decision, and cro cop defeats hunt in k1 by unanimous decision

When Mirko droped Hunt, he was down for a few seconds in mma the fight would have been stoped. When hunt beat mirko it was a close fight, probally because mirko was injured but who really knows. Hunt still needs to get a ground game. I dont see Hunt fighting in the Ufc anyway.

Hunt cant beat couture imo. As for werdum and arlovski i dont know why they arnet hyping it at all. They are the two best fighters on the card besides Cro Cop. And imo it is the best fight (on paper) this year
