The UFC HW division is deep enough now to where if AA by some stroke of luck were to defeat Werdum, he would need to fight another top contender or atleast a formittable opponent (Hardonk or Herring would be fine) before getting a shot at the title. Realistically he should have to fight Couture after Couture loses to Cro Cop.

Arlovski has lost 2 out of his last 3 including back to back losses to Sylvia and the second loss was a rather horrific display from AA, then a win over Cruz in a fight Cruz was actually able to get to the ground so even in that fight his performance was less than steller so to give him a title shot after that win and a win over Werdum would be pretty ridiculous IMO and lets not look past the fact that AA was the king of the UFC when it was the weakest division in a top promotion in all of MMA and his resume speaks volumes of his lack of competition and as long as Cro Cop and Werdum are around I don't think AA wil ever be the UFC HW champion again plus now with the rumored purchase of PRIDE you will have Fedor, Barnett, Nog if the rumoured cateract turns out to be false, Hunt, Aleks, Sergei and Fujita it would put AA at the ass end of that list and far out of title contention.

Well Herring isnt being considered shit by the UFC so I dont know. They have him on the undercard in his next fight not even being televised lol. Poor guy.

I seriously think AA has a good chance at defeating Werdum but the fight is in favor of Werdum. This is a win AA for sure needs though.
