Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson - The Hunger for More (Interview)
This was a great interview that I found. Rampage talks about how he got interested in MMA and how he got into it. He also talks about why he vowed never to work for Pride again and the shady shit behind the scenes. Finally he discusses his debut in UFC and his thoughts on Chuck Liddell...

...interview was pretty long so posted the link for everyone.

wouldnt be surprised. He was an American Black fighter coming into a Japanese ran organization so I'm sure there is some truth to this.

It's an interesting read and a good read, but it makes me almost sad to read it because Rampage comes off sounding practically paranoid with statements like these:

Every time Pride brought me in to lose or almost every time, I went up in there and I did my thing. But the only thing about Pride was that they try to use the referees to aid it. The UFC they don't do it like Pride do it. But you know the referee controls the fight a lot of people don't pay attention like I pay attention. The referee can stand you up at certain times or let certain things go on, or stop the fight at certain times when they want, so you've gotta always be careful with that.

In that one section he informs us that Pride conspired against him, Pride used their refs to conspire against him, the UFC is conspiring against him, and then the UFC doesn't use their refs to conspire against him but then in the next breath goes on to imply strongly that they could and might or that at the very least the ref might have an agenda against him.

I think he is specifically getting at how the Japanese refs seem to be beholden mainly to PRIDE, where as the UFC refs are employed by the NSAC and don't have much room to be playing favorites.

He does seem to have a Me vs. The World complex, but maybe this is just how he gets motivated for a fight.

Nah, I think what he's saying is that UFC's referees aren't as biased, but that some of them stop or stand up fights faster than others do.
