After breaking his hand in the first round while en route to a decision victory, Denis Kang sat down with the Korean media. He explains his love for the sport and how it is growing in Korea, giving props to the young fighters coming up. He also says that he will not stop until he gets the belt (185) but it will probably be four months or so until he is healed.

So much for him fighting at the next pride event. I watched the video before sounds like theres some good korean fighters.

I've said it before but this exact type of thing is why open contracts that let you fight for other orgs are bad for business.

ill bet while all that swelling was going on during the fight, his hand was practically screaming at him to get out of those gloves. that dude's got a ton of heart!

This event is so smalltime that no one is covering the results yet!

Kang's win wasn't in the Sherdog fight Finder when I posted this...

So now one of Pride's most exciting WW is going to be out for four months???

Filho is saying Pride is done, and now this; the two guys who should've fought in the WW GP finale will probably not fight in Pride for a long time.

Fucking depressing.

fuck. now i have till summer to see one of the best MWs in the world compete

and i dont know how long Pride can stay afloat before trying to cut losses
