Pride may return to USA in June
Next event may be held in LA

Upon confirming the cancellation of Pride 35 in the United States, initially foreseen to take place on April 28, in Las Vegas, Pride president, Nobuyuki Sakakibara, confirmed to journalists that the organization does not intend to give up on promoting events in the United States. According to Sakakibara, it is most likely the show will take place at the end of June, and unlike what has been going on until now, not in the city of Las Vegas, but in the state of California, most likely in Los Angeles.

Sakakibara also said, in a press conference, that he is continuing negotiations for Pride to once again be shown on Japanese network television.

This is from gracie mag, who knows, would be nice to read the whole press conference if anybody has it.

Why would that be a mistake? PRIDE is big in Cali.

If they could find a local star to put on the show (assuming it happens in L.A.) they could do big business there. Is Cung Le signed exclusively to Strikeforce?

I am pretty certain PRIDE has him signed for at least 1 fight. Not an exclussive contract but yeah I agree, Cung would be a massive draw in Cali for PRIDE, hopefully they realize this to.

If PRIDE has a one fight deal with him then I would bet nuts to nickels that he'll be fighting in California. I wouldn't be surprised if PRIDE tried to lure Frank Shamrock over for one show, he has proven drawing power in that state.
