I thought you said u were a boxing fan since 94

btw I didnt even include the DLH/Mayorga fight, or the Casamayor/Corrales fight

and just so you know

only the Marquez/Vasquez fight happened this year, so thats what? 7 fights in one year just off the top of my head

i would love to see this fight AA vs CC . they are both great strikers..thats that makes for a good fight...cc got knocked out by kevin...AA by sylvia....so they both can be knocked out...everyone can...i think its going to be a great fight... it all depends on what AA shows up..also like some other people have pointed out who else is there in the UFC that you would rather see fight...if AA wins him and randy would be awsome... CC isnt unbeatable remember...just my rant for the day

It really isnt.. the only thing weak about Boxing is the HW division and thats why people think its on the back burner, yet UFC is huge right now.. and Boxing was able to keep up with the UFC in PPV buys and gates, in fact they exceeded the UFC in Gates, I think the UFC had more PPV buys by a hair

but look at how many PPVs the UFC puts out a year compared to Boxing.. Boxing is in no way shape or form in trouble, in fact Mayweather vs DLH is probably gonna be one of the biggest draw in boxing history.. it should be atleast, and is going to be an exciting fight plus JMM vs Barrera? great matchup

Hopkins vs Winky? great matchup.. Boxing still has exciting matchups outside of the HW division, problem is no one pays attention when the HW division is weak.. but they got Sam Peters who is gonna turn heads

Boxing was huge, and they have taken a step back from what they use to be but they are in no way shape or form a dying company, they wont die.. they are still strong, and on the rise if you look at it.. people still watch boxing, and love boxing.. theres just MMA now so people now have options.. both are great, both are going no where I dont see the point in comparing or the competition

IMO Dana White wastes his time trying to compete with boxing, he may suprass boxing but hes not gonna get rid of it.. theres too much money in boxing, too many loyal fans plus getting rid of it will only turn MMA into boxing.. a company with no competition that will eventually get boring and fans will search for something new

fact is both Boxing and MMA need eachother. I have a hard time sometimes deciding which I like better, probably boxing because Boxing is a superbowl event to me where as a lot of UFC (outside of Pride) is more like a touchdown compared to an entire game.. its a different thing watchin boxing compared to MMA, but I watch more MMA then I do boxing.. and talk more MMA then I do boxing, but I have no problem with both I cant see why MMA fans who like watching fighting have such a problem with Boxing, and honestly I blame Dana White for poisioning the MMA community into disliking boxing so much (seems I blame Dana for a lot of things lol)

I'm not a big boxing fan, and the HW division is garbage. RICKY HATTON is the one boxer I buy PPV's for, he always has entertaining fights and has the marketability to boot. If you wanna watch an action packed fight check out some of Hatton's brawls.
