Oh please. Lister can sub him if hes given more than 30 seconds on the ground. Their fight in the UFC was bogus.

most people know Nate as the guy with the sh*tfest against Salaverry...pretty sad really.

I've seen plenty of Marquardt's fights and plenty of Silva's. The Spider will win in devastating fashion via KO/TKO in round one, two at the latest. Then the rematch we've all been waiting for with Rich.

Nate by dec.
Who has been on his nuts? I rarely hear anybody talk about him outside the Salaverry fight being boring. I think he is a very effective and intelligent fighter, if he plays the fight right, he takes Silva down and possibly subs him.

We saw that Silva's Takedown defense isn't the greatest. Even if you take the injury into account Silva has never been known for his sprawl. So It's definitely possible for Marquardt to get him down, although Silva's guard is tough to deal with.

Also, how much pain is silva gonna inflict on nate before he gets that takedown is a huge factor.

Very true. Lutter is more than willing to eat a few bombs to get his opponents down. We will have to see if Nates willing to do the same. No free take downs in the spiders world.

Listen if some folks were saying Lutter is a bad match up for Silva, then Nate definitely is...Nate is a multi-time Pancrase Champion and ADCC grappler.

I think it will be another one of those situations where the outcome of the fight will all depend on if the bulk takes place standing or on the canvas. Standing give it to A Silva, on the canvas I'd give it to Nate. I do not see Nate having trouble taking Silva down because I do not think much of Silva's sprawl but he'll have to be careful getting in there without catching any blows from Silva.
