don't go by these numbers especially for poster boy fighters or guys fighting in high profile matches. without giving away to much. i know for a fact that the ufc gives these guys a special bonus. How? a few days after a major fight, a fighter who is no longer with the ufc was reported to make less than $20k for his fight. well he put almost $50k into the bank 4 days after the fight.

Sure stress level qualifies as work, but lesser fighters would love the extra 'work' I'm sure but don't get the opportunity. Besides, I do not see how the extra work qualifies them for 100 times the wage.

A 20 dollar purse? What the fuck are you talking about.
As always, n00bs should take into consideration that these are incomplete numbers and that the higher-drawing fighters likely recieve PPV share-based bonuses or something similar.
Also, it would help if people could write up their posts in full-fledged, legible english (I'm looking at you, Rockx).

Are you serious? I think he was talking about 20K...

I already mentioned this is the fighter pay out for these fighters per whatever is on their contract. Just like Nevada does, these pay outs do not include all the extra bonuses like from ppv, sponsors, endorsements and what not.

What did I do now? I went back and read my posts, I didn't notice any poorly written English.
Also you spell recieve, receive.

Most of the lower dollared fighters make at least double what they get from sponsors. Those that get $4,000 make $8-10,000 easy (total - base pay and sponsors). Who knows how much the big names make! They are making out okay, and these numbers will be doing nothing but going up in the next year or two.
Watch the Warrior Nation where the two fighters that fought at the UFN were documented to see some proof.

I still think it is ridiculous that any fighter makes less than $10k per fight in the UFC. Like I said in the Pride fighter payout thread. They dont have the guys making $250k, but everyone makes at least $10k, with more fighters in the $30k range.
