Brandon Vera going to EXC would be the best move.

Vera should go to EXC. If he does this he has a chance to become a better fighter and build more of a legacy. Staying in the UFC might hurt him more in the long run. If he stays for less money and ends up fighting Arlovski and Cro Cop. Say he loses those two fights, then he will for sure not be getting much money at all, and he will be lost in the mix as the UFC brings in the other talent...eg like a Barnett, Nogeria, Fedor....etc

If Vera goes to EXC he will have a lighter work load for the most part. He will fight guys that are closer to the same level as he is and he will most likely become the Champ. Once that happens the UFC will bring him back for sure, and he will get paid better money for sure.

By that time he will have improved his skills, matured more and will be ready for the top fighter in the UFC LHW division.

Over all I hope to see Vera in EXC, it will help that promotion and won't hurt the UFC at all.

is the only HW they have listed on there site, and why Vera would probably Sub him, I'd like to see the fight.

, Now I don't blame Vera for wanting to hold out for more money, but if EXC signs him how are they going to pay anyone with a half a name to come and fight him, I mean I don't want to see him fight Persey over and over again, I think they should get there Fighter quantity up before throwing that kind of money at someone.

Yeah EXC has Silva listed as 295 and Cabbage as 275, so I'm pretty sure it was a SHW fight. I don't know if Silva can get all of the way down to 265.

I'm Pretty sure that Junior can't make 265 either, but Who the hell are they going to have him fight, I can see it now.

I agree with Dominus. Not only would it be good for Vera financially, but professionally and mentaly it will be good for him to be the top HW in an org even if it is a newer smaller org.

If he could drop to 205 I would say he should stay in the UFC (in regards of what is best professionally) since he basically would be right there with Rashad as the 4 or 5 guy in the LHW division.
