Okay,Okay...everyone that said that Sylvia was a fraud was proven right with Saturday's fight. But you have to remember that he did beat Arlovsky twice. The second time they fought, I feel he truly won that fight, Yet in the third, it looked like he was just doing enough to not lose the fight, instead of trying to knockout or submit Arlovsky.
So, if he looked that bad against "an old man" where does that leave Arlovsky in this whole HW picture? Does he even rank in the top five HWs in the world?
Who does Arlovsky fight after UFC 70? The winner of the CroCop-Couture fight? Actually, I would like to see Arlovsky fight CroCop after UFC 70! The winner takes on Couture.

Tim is no joke, he matches up bad for some people. Randy just did a lot of homework and obviously believed he could beat Tim.
Tim and AA are both good fighters.
Some people make MMA so cut and dry, and it isn't.

I feel now that Sylvia no longer has the belt he may return to what he was before, which was a very big, dangerous opponent. Every defense of the belt he became more tentative. He should have finished Monson easily and should have finished a hurt opponent in Arlovski, but he didn't. I hope he returns of the days when he was rocking guys like Cabbage, Ricco, and Gan McGee. Back then he was a force and not an ogre. We can only wait and see.

To me AA a Top Notch Fighter & is Still Very Dangerous. He Young, Strong,Great Shape,Gots Quick Hands,Gots KO Power, He's Light on His Feet, & He Got Good Foot Work. I think Overrall AA Top 3-5 in HW.

For those of you who have not seen Werdum yet, get ready AA is about to get schooled. AA is great but he doesn't match with Werdum well.

no one has really mentioned about how long until tim gets a rematch. i don't know if couture moves on to another opponent or whatever, but i don't really see the same result happening from this first fight with sylvia.

Effectively, Arlovski is a better striker with a weaker chin. In the second fight AA was overextended and got caught for it. Had he not been leaning forward where Tim could land on top of him, who knows how the fight would have turned out but that's what happens when you get overly excited and drop your defenses. In the third fight nobody did anything.

MMA Math! AA has a hard time with goog right hands and bigger fighters. AA is a terrible matchup for Couture.
