I was buying your Randy beating CroCop thing for a minute until I read this.
Randy didn't underestimate Tim did he? Why would CroCop?
Later.

Now before the Tim fight I wouldn't have even given Randy a chance of getting a round vs Cro Cop, but seeing at how well his game plan worked vs Tim, and at how good Randy looked, I just don't want to make the same mistake of predicting this one against Randy.
Betting against a guy like that when you've just seen what he's capable of is mental.
BUT...
Then u look at Cro Cop and oh dear, the same problem occurs here, how can u bet against that Kick and those hands?
Im not even gona bother to predict this one because I'm just really excited to watch it happen. As long as neither fighter is seriously hurt, I will be a very happy viewer what ever the outcome.

I agree. I just hope it doesn't resemble the Randy/Vitor mess. I could honestly see that sort of crap happening when I spend my 40 bucks.

LOL. Not happening.
Number 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 isnt anything new to CroCop. #5 applies to just about everyone in MMA. #6 shows this thread is made by a Randy fan who is disillusioned by his latest comeback
The botoom line is, Randy can't take CroCop down because of of CroCop's straight left and CroCop's striking skills cancel out all the reasons you listed above.

Yeah, seriously, is that a little kid hopped up on Pez talking nonsense? I'm pretty sure super-powers don't exist ... and neither does the Tooth Fairy. Honestly, I think it's a real tough fight for Randy if he gets a match against Cro-Cop. I really like Randy as a fighter, but this is a serious step up in competition. After watching him on Sat, I won't count him out, but he'll need a serious upset.

I dunno, I can totally see Randy beating Cro Cop. I'd be willing to take a bet on it too.
I don't see why he couldn't, Randy uses the cage like nobody else. Cro Cop would definitely be stepping into the Masters domain. I see Randy taking him down over and over using the cage, he doesn't have to shoot for a double leg.

Cro-cop has much better takedown defense then Tim Sylvia, and I dont have to say this but I will better striking, if Randy couldnt beat Chuck Liddell in 2 fights why will he beat CC?

Crocop vs Randy
Crocop has power, and you can never discount that, but people have been basing his dominance in the UFC upon his performance in Pride, and the comparison might not stick for a number of reasons.
First, Mirko has to adjust to a large cage where it's a little more difficult to corner an opponent than it would be in a square circle. Second, elbows could play a big part in a ground-n-pound scenario with Couture, and Mirko, technically, may have some catching up to do there. Finally, while Mirclo has faced good wrestlers in Coleman, Randleman, and Barnett, I think most people will admit they are not as multi-dimensional as Couture, (Couture, for example, would never be caught in a guillotine as easily as Randleman was) while Randy has faced top strikers like Belfort, Maurice Smith, Pedro Rizzo, and, of course, Chuck Liddell.
I think it will be close.

Barnett is as multi-dimensional Couture
