Anyone feel sorry for Tim?
This is a crazy thought but I felt bad seeing him get booed after his loss. He was pretty humble after the loss but people were unforgiving (or ignorant). He is in his rightful place as a mediocre fighter and his short comings were exposed but I kinda felt bad for him and it seemed like the booing hurt his feelings
Also, the wat those idiots booed Silva was a disgrace. I thought it was just plain racism booing the guy based on color of his skin.

i dont think they boo'd out of racsism. I think its more the fact he kicked Ace's ass (who was loved there by the way) dont go accusing 19,000 people of being racist lol

Now hang on here...I put up with a lot on internet messageboards, but how do you know the crowd was booing the guy because of the color of his skin and are therefore racist?!? If you can't back that up then you need to correct yourself...that's just flat-out bullshit.
They boo'd the guy because it's Rich's hometown and this is the guy that destroyed Rich to take his belt.

No kidding.
Some folks are so fucking touchy about race that somehow they see this as a racial matter, rather than what it plainly was...the guy was watching Rich fight in Rich's backyard after he beat Rich up and took his belt. The crowd didn't like that he beat Rich up and took his belt.
It's not more complex than that, you paranoid bastard.

how do you know they were booing hm b/c they're racist? the logical assumption would be that they were booing him because he beat Rich Franklin, Ohio, where the event was, is Rich's hometown. Don't go throwing accusations out based on blatant assumptions. It's not like they were chanting shyt or anything

Really shithead? Yeah, there is a possibility of that and I admit it but based on the fact that he gets booed whenever he gets shown when he is one of the most skilled fighter, as well as one of the professional fighter out there made me conclude that race did play a part in people booing the guy.

Who is really being paranoid here? Who is over reacting here? So there is NO chance people were not liking the guy based on his race? Open your eyes, people!

Then you're fucking delusional man.
You conclude that 19,000 people together decided to boo a guy because of the color of his skin, while you "admit" that it's only "a possibility" that they were booing him because he just dismantled their hometown kid?
You got owned in this thread dude...it's natural enough to get defensive and feisty about it but don't be pissed at me that you chose to make the most bullshit generalization possible about an entire arena of people and got called on it.
Just lick your wounds and STFU about race and last night, because it's not there.

Personally, the main reason he got booed was because of the Rich Franklin situation, and secondly because he can't speak english. I noticed a louder boo when he begin to talk. It is unwarranted because he is humble and a great champion for the UFC. I'm gald Rich called out the idiot drunk fans. Hopefully people will become smarter MMA fans eventually and not treat it disrespectfully.
