Hughes' next opponent?

Who will it be?

I think it will be the winner of Sanchez/Koscheck. That would be an awesome fight.

Dana White has pretty much all but confirmed that Hughes's next fight will be a rematch with GSP. So that's what I would put my money on.

That sucks. Diego, if he wins which I think he will, will have at least another 8 months to wait. BOOOO!

In the meantime, Diego could have another fight with Karo. Karo needs an opponent for UFC 71 I believe. They will have a lot to live up to considering the war they had in their first fight though.

Karo already has an opponent for UFC 71. And Diego couldn't make that card, he probably will take a longer break after Koscheck than that.

Hughes deserves to get his ass beat again.

I want to see Diego v Koscheck winner go against Jon Fitch. Fitch is ma boy.

Wishful thinking but I doubt if Diego wins they will put him against Karo. If he wins against Kos his undefeated record will be a huge selling point and draw against either a legend in Hughes or the legend killer in GSP to the casual mma fan for a title shot. Not to mention it won't be to long in between fights so they wont risk it after having him showcased on a main ppv card. If Kos some how wins by a fluke.... maybe I could see him fighting Karo at 71 because I don't necessarily think he is as ready for a title shot as some of the other wws...Karo included.

Haha yeah I read that literally after posting, and exiting the topic. It would still be great though. Diego vs. Fitch would be great though too. I think Diego is too tough for Fitch though. Sorry Rockx.

Fitch is a tough, fast dude. Diego would be in for the toughest fight he has had.
